Random number generator.
Picks a number in any range, a 4-digit PIN, a 6-digit code, a phone number, lottery numbers, or an age.
The tool
Numbers
"Think of a number" is the oldest line in mentalism, and the hardest one to rehearse alone, because you already know the number. This thinks of it for you.
What you can pick.
- Custom range (Min and Max: 0 to 999,999)
- 4-digit PIN
- 6-digit code
- Phone number
- Lottery numbers (Picks: 1 to 10, Pool: 10 to 99)
- Age (Min and Max: 0 to 120)
How to practice with it.
- Set the range you would give a spectator, 1 to 100 or 1 to 1,000, and work with what comes up.
- Use the 4-digit PIN or the phone number when the routine needs digits a stranger would plausibly give.
- Lottery numbers are drawn without repeats, so they also pick several items from a numbered list.
About the phone numbers.
Phone numbers here are random digits in a US format. Any match with a real number is a coincidence, so please don't dial them.
Good to know.
Results come from your browser's built-in random number generator. That's right for the practice room, and wrong for anything with money or security riding on it. Your results stay in your browser. They aren't saved, and they aren't sent to us.
Inside Trickifi, the Randomizer also draws names, cities and landmarks, favorites, and imagery, and lets you build lists of your own. It lives in the Scratchpad, next to the rest of your practice.
